About the Show
Created by the SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in California, this program looks outward into the cosmos by bringing you reports on current research and interviews with the people doing the science on the ground. Themed episodes connect the latest research ideas to identify emerging trends and why they matter. The show also works to separate science from pseudoscience – the facts from the phony – in Skeptic Check, a monthly episode devoted to critical thinking.
Big Picture Science is hosted by Seth Shostak (scientist) and Molly Bentley (science journalist), who use smart and humorous storytelling to grab your attention and pour solid information into your ears.
