About the Show
A daily variety show of (mostly) acoustic music in many genres. The program celebrates the uniquely clever human mind and the skill of dexterous fingers dancing along strings. Music in the American string band tradition: Bluegrass, Folk, Contra Dance, Singer-Songwriter, and lots more. Hosted by Vic Tredwell, WBFY Station Manager, the show includes a rundown of the day’s schedule near the end of the hour, along with other station news. There is always a set of local music at 12:30 and cuts from a featured album around 12:45.
